If your wish your middle schoolers to prepare for the new school year and get some academic reinforcement and engaging challenges, bring them to our center. LMLC’s summer programs offer everything needed for their success. Enroll today!
At our center, classes are available in group and individual settings. Students of all ages and educational backgrounds can be accommodated in a variety of subjects. This summer, we are inviting 6-8th grade students to join our 9 class sessions at a special rate of $36 per hour. Most classes are available online and in-person at our center (650 N Winchester Blvd, #1A, San Jose, CA 95128).

$324 per session ($36 per hour)
- The classes are subject to cancellation if the minimum requirement of 3 students in a group is not reached
- Tuition is non-refundable but may be transferred to a different class

Middle School Math Preparation
Grades: 6
In-person classes at LMLC:
Mon/Wed/Fri: 9:00am-10:00am
Online classes:
Mon/Wed/Fri: 3:30pm – 4:30pm
At these classes the students will review the previous school material, acquire new skills and knowledge and get ready to the Middle school. A special focus will be made on the word problem solving strategies and practical application of the theoretical knowledge.

Creative Writing

English Language Arts
Grades: 6-8
In-person classes at LMLC:
Mon/Wed/Fri: 10:15am-11:15pm
Online classes:
Mon/Wed/Fri: 5:00pm-6:00pm
These classes will focus on sharpening essay writing and reading comprehension skills, systematizing the students’ knowledge of English grammar and will help students to develop as sophisticated writers and speakers.

Introduction to Algebra
Grades: 7-8

These challenging classes will prepare the students to the High School math introducing them to the basic notions of algebra and teaching them to apply algebraic expressions into solving practical problems.

Introduction to Geometry
Grades: 7-8
In-person classes at LMLC:

Our Geometry classes will formalize and extend students’ geometric experiences from the previous school years; develop their spatial sense and abstract thinking and teach them construct viable arguments and apply logic and proof to solve various problems.

Beginners
At these classes the kids will be introduced to a new language through games, songs and other fun activities. At our lessons, students will learn basic grammar and acquire basic reading, writing and conversation skills. The classes will be conducted by a native speaking professional with a great educational experience.
Intermediate level
These classes are for the students who would like to keep up with their language skills and be immersed into the foreign culture with a native speaking teacher.

Python for Beginners Java for Beginners
Students will learn how to code with one of the world popular coding languages. There is no experience necessary for this class and will be fun for everyone! This is an interactive class. Students will be amazed at what they can do with this language. Topics include setup, data types, operators, conditions, cases, loops, functions and some programming libraries. Students will complete projects using all of these concepts. Once they have an understanding of the basics, they’ll be well on their way to creating even more sophisticated programs.

Python for Continuing Students
Java for Continuing Students
These classes will focus on simple to medium data structures found in programming in the context of Python or Java. Starting from simple structures: lists, queues and arrays; students will proceed to linked lists and trees. Also, the students will be introduced to the algorithm complexity analysis in the context of Python or Java. Class covers a variety of different functions, both in implementing them and in analyzing their complexity. Students will be constantly working on interesting programming projects.

Terms & Conditions
- There are no refunds for classes missed by students with no 24-hour notice.
- In case a student misses a private class with a 24 hour notice, he/she is entitled to get a make-up session of the corresponding value on another day in accordance with the class availability.
- In case a student misses a group online class with a 24-hour notice, he/she is entitled to get a Zoom recording of the missed class.
- In case a student misses an in-person group class with a 24-hour notice, he/she is entitled to get a make-up session of the corresponding value on a subject of his/her choice in accordance with the availability.
- In case a classed is cancelled by LMLC, students are entitled to receive a full reimbursement or a make-up session on another day.
