SAT MATH: Problem Solving Strategies

We will help students to get ready to the SAT Math exam. At the lessons the students will learn problem solving strategies, math vocabulary, and review the needed material. There will be a particular focus on tips and tricks to help improve the score and avoid emotional problems. Each lesson will include a mini-test containing SAT styled questions.

The classes are conducted by highly professional and experienced teachers having a Bachelor or a Master degree in the subject. It is not by chance that our math instructors were named among the best tutors of San Jose, and that our Center has been winning the Best Test Prep awards since 2015.

A small number of students (not more than 6 kids in a group) will enable the teacher to find an individual approach to each of them and to tailor the session to the individual needs of each group member.

These classes are recommended to any 9th – 12th grader, as it is a good refresher for those who have taken the SAT or ACT and felt they can do better, and a great help to those who are facing their first exams.

SAT English

Whether your student is going up to take the SATs for the first time or the fourth, our skilled instructors will help her or him walk into the test with confidence. We use an updated curriculum with materials geared towards the new, redesigned SAT. Our programs meet all the newest requirements and are named among the best ones in San Jose.

Each lesson will be devoted to the revision of a certain grammar and lexical material and will include a mini-test containing SAT – style questions, as well as the questions pulled from past years.  The teacher will thoroughly analyze the results of each mini-test and make sure that the students understand their mistakes and will be able to avoid them in future. A special attention will be paid to the test-taking strategies necessary for the effective time use at the real test.

Our private AP test Preparation classes make a vital addition to any student’s studies for AP tests. Studying alone requires enormous efforts and self-direction to be done effectively which cannot be expected from most teen-agers. They do need an experienced instructor who is able to explain and clarify the topics. Bring your students to LMLC, and our teachers will be happy to guide your students while reviewing the AP test topics and conducting practice tests.
