After-School Russian classes

LMLC is a proud partner of Monticello Academy. Since 2017, our teachers have been conducting a variety of Russian classes as after-school programs at the Monticello campus.
Our classes are conducted in small groups and are always adjusted to the students’ language level and needs.
All the lessons are full of exciting and age-appropriate activities: reading short stories, reciting poems, solving puzzles, watching and discussing animated cartoons, and playing games.
Our Students:
Russian as a Foreign Language (Beginners)
Russian for Beginners teaches Russian from scratch to students with no prior exposure, no matter the age. Students learn the Cyrillic alphabet and begin their study of Russian vocabulary.
Russian for Bilingual Students (Intermediate level)
A special program is available for bilingual children growing up in households with at least one Russian-speaking parent. These kids face special challenges, and LMLC’s program sets them up for success and fluency.
Russian For Native Speakers (Advanced Level)
Russian For Native Speakers follows the curriculum of Russian schools, including rigorous study of grammar, literature, and writing. Not going to school in Russia doesn’t have to mean missing out on Russian schooling. The goal of this course is to acquaint the kids with the Russian culture and history and to arouse their interest in further systematic studies.

(see the registration and payment instructions below).

No classes when school is not in session
Students of all levels are welcome
Thursday
- Grades 5-8: 3:45 pm – 4:30 pm
- Grades K-1: 4:30 pm – 5:15 pm
- Grades 2-4: 5:15 pm – 6:00 pm
Tuition:
$1089
$1089 for 33 classes ($33 per class)
Payment can be made in full ($1089) or in 2 equal installments of $545. The first installment is due by September 7, 2023 and the second one by January 18, 2024
If preferred, you may enroll for a shorter period. In that case the payment should be made at the rate of $39 per class.

If your child is new to our programs, please be sure to contact us at (408)596-1270 or info@langmath.com to determine the right group for him/her. Please, note that the final group distribution will be confirmed when all the applications are received. We’ll do our best to split the students in accordance with their age group and language level.
